Tumi Luggage Warranty

The Tumi luggage warranty extends to the original owner. During the first year of ownership, Tumi with limited exceptions will make all repairs caused by wear and tear and any transit damage that might occur. Tumi will cover the repair expense and shipping costs. Damage is not covered resulting from abuse. Additionally, cosmetic damage, and contents inside the bag are not covered, including loss of time, or similar expenses. Years two through five, you are covered for defects in material or workmanship for a nominal processing fee. Damage caused by a carrier such as an airline or cruiseline is not covered. You will need to file a claim against the carrier for that type of damage. You will also be responsible for shipping costs when returning the bag to Tumi for repair. When the repair is not covered by the warranty, you will charged a nominal amount for the repairs. You will need your store receipt as proof of purchase when making a claim for warranty coverage.
