Skyway Luggage Warranty

Many of the Skyway Luggage collections including the popular Ultra No-Weight III luggage have a 15 year limited warranty. Skyway luggage warranties that they offer both quality and value and that the merchandise you purchased is free of defects in material and workmanship. The limited warranty is for 15 years to the original purchaser of the luggage and you will require a receipt in the event that there is a defect or that one arises. If there is a defect, Skyway will repair or replace at their expense, with a piece of equal or greater value. The Skyway warranty does not cover claims resulting from damage of any kind. That includes abuse, misuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, and damage that may occur when it is in the custody of a third party such as an airlines. Skyway advises that over time some componenets such as wheels and other moving parts will show wear and tear and this is not covered under the warranty. If an airline, cruiseline, etc., should damage your bag you would need to make a claim with the carrier as this is not covered by the warranty. You are responsible for transportation charges when sending your bag in for repair. The warranty is also limited to the value of the luggage and not the contents.
